Coming Soon to Lubbock!

As of April 7, 2025, several new businesses and events are set to open in Lubbock, Texas:​

Restaurants and Bars:

• Costa Mar Restaurant: Located at 3420 82nd Street, Suite 200, this establishment plans to begin construction in April, with a tentative opening in October. ​

• Fieldhouse Deli: Situated at 82nd and Quaker in The Village shopping center, Fieldhouse Deli aims for an April opening. The menu will feature sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, salads, and soups. 

• Bombshells Restaurant and Bar: This Dallas-based "breastaurant" is nearing completion along the TX-327 Spur access road. The 12,000-square-foot venue will include an indoor/outdoor patio and is expected to open before summer 2025. ​

Retail:

• Nordstrom Rack: A 30,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in Lubbock's West End Center in fall 2025, occupying the former Bed Bath & Beyond location between World Market and Dave & Buster's. ​

Hotels:

• Mayo LBK: This boutique hotel, located at 800 Broadway (the former County Jail site), is slated for a 2025 opening. The first floor will feature "The Slammer," a coffee shop and bar, with an outdoor patio on the Buddy Holly Avenue side. 

Entertainment Venues:

• Covenant Park Entertainment Venue: An approximately 80,000-square-foot facility is set to open in 2025, featuring movie theaters, bowling, indoor pickleball courts, an arcade, a full-service restaurant, and a two-story brewery. ​

Events:

• Staind & Breaking Benjamin Concert: Scheduled for May 6, 2025, at the United Supermarkets Arena. Doors open at 4:45 PM, with the concert starting at 5:45 PM. ​

• Lubbock Chamber Business Expo: Taking place on May 22, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, this expo will showcase over 100 businesses from various industries. ​
